Sybmolism of Blue



Continuing the series of articles about color, and it's symbolism in artwork, it's healing effects, and what your reaction to it might tell you about your personality. This deals article is about the color BLUE...

Considered the coolest color of the spectrum of visible light. Things blue might symbolism include but are not limited to with loyalty, stability, harmony, unity, conservatism (American politics would ironically suggest the opposite), sky, water, cold, calm, trust, technology, truth, confidence, order, tranquility, peace, and taken to the extreme depression and sadness. Some artists also use blue to show perspective.

If you like blue then you might love peace, harmony. You probably are capable, sensitive, and reliable, and chances are that you make some effort to think of other people. You might be faithful and loyal with a good sense of order, logic, and rational thinking.

A person with an aversion to blue might be a strong career worker, could be very disciplined, and may not like being restricted.

Blue can be used have a cooling and calming effect. Blue can help reduce fevers, or deal with the summer heat. Blue can is a good color to use to treat high blood pressure, stop bleeds, offer is good to use on burns, calm aggression and other strong emotions such as anger and hysteria. Blue can sooth suffering in general and helps reduce inflammation, stress, itching and irritation. Blue has can have the effect a sedating, or apatite suppressing. When you want more communication is another good time to add more blue into your life.

Anyone with bad circulation should probably avoid blue. To much blue can result in a person feel cold, sad, depressed, and have the effect of making a person passive to the point of being easily taken advantage of.
