The symbolism of yellow can be joy, happiness, betrayal, optimism, idealism, life-force, vitality, summer, gold, cowardice. Yellow is also the associated with sunshine, mental clarity, and intellect, memorizing, and vitality, and all things to do with them mind.

Yellow is a favorite of people who might have dramatic imaginations and artistic or creative tenancies. A person who like yellow is probably also mentally adventurous, and intellectual. Favoring yellow might suggest a sunny and shrewd disposition with a great deal of clear and precise thought. At times a person who favors yellow might prefer freedom to responsibility. A preference for a stronger shade of yellow might indicate an arrogant or conceited individual, while a preference for a pastel yellow is more likely come from a timid individual.

A person who is bitter and disappointed and might also want to avoid depth or have a tenancy to rationalize feelings.

A person seeking to strengthen nerves or their minds could benefit from having more exposure to yellow. Anyone suffering from a nerve related condition or seeking to stimulate intellect could use a little more yellow in their lives. Yellow can lead to inspiration and stimulate higher mentality. Yellow has a positive effect on memory, digestion, and skin issues. Another good time to increase a persons exposure to yellow when they need clarity for decision making.

To much yellow can lead to exhaustion and depression. Yellow is not recommended for people who are experiencing stress.
